        • Analyze software business models, customer demand, pricing trends, usage metrics, product roadmaps, go-to-market strategies, and competitive landscapes.
        • Produce clear, concise written summaries and analytical memos that synthesize findings and highlight investment-relevant implications.
        • Monitor market developments, regulatory changes, product launches, earnings commentary, technology shifts, and other signals relevant to software and AI companies.
        • Support strategic research initiatives tied to long-term technology themes, including the commercialization of AI, cloud migration, automation, cybersecurity resilience, and the evolution of enterprise software.
        • Collaborate closely with investment analysts to help frame research questions, identify information gaps, and develop differentiated perspectives on companies and sectors.

        Who we’re looking for

        • A bachelor’s degree or equivalent with at least two years of relevant experience; experience in technology research, software industry analysis, investment analysis, consulting, market intelligence, data analysis, or a related field is preferred.
        • Deep interest in software, artificial intelligence, and broader technology trends, with the ability to evaluate both technical developments and business implications.
        • A demonstrated record of academic and professional achievement, along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
        • Keen analytical skills, intellectual curiosity, and the ability to synthesize complex technical and market information into clear, actionable insights.
        • Familiarity with software business models, enterprise technology purchasing, AI applications, cloud infrastructure, or technology sector competitive dynamics is a plus.
        • Initiative, adaptability, and a collaborative and thoughtful approach to problem-solving.
        • The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $145,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
