The team owns the books, financial reporting, and control environment for the firm's U.S. and international management companies. This role offers the opportunity to take ownership of recurring close, reporting, and regulatory processes while helping to modernize the function through generative AI and automation.

        What you’ll do day-to-day

        • Manage recurring monthly and quarterly close activities, including journal entries, reconciliations, and supporting schedules.

        • Prepare recurring and ad hoc financial reporting for the team and firm leadership, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

        • Contribute to the design and adoption of generative AI and automation tools to make close, reporting, and regulatory workflows more efficient and reliable.

        • Partner with colleagues across FinOp and Legal & Compliance to research questions, address reporting needs, and improve processes.

        What we’re looking for

        • • At least two years of accounting experience, ideally within alternative asset management, financial services, or public accounting, along with a bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a CPA is required.
        • • Solid understanding of core accounting concepts and the recurring close and reporting cycle.
        • • A forward-looking mindset toward generative AI and automation, with genuine interest in applying new tools to everyday work.
        • • Keen analytical and problem-solving skills with a focus on attention to detail and accuracy.
        • • Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively across teams.
        • • Demonstrated initiative, eagerness to learn, and the ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and professionalism.
        • • The expected annual base salary for this position is $120,000 to $160,000. Our compensation and benefits package includes variable compensation in the form of a year-end bonus, guaranteed in the first year of hire, and benefits including medical and prescription drug coverage, 401(k) contribution matching, wellness reimbursement, family building benefits, and a charitable gift match program.
