Corporate Transactional / Renewable Energy Attorney

The D. E. Shaw group seeks a purchasing associate who will be responsible for acquiring goods or services at an acceptable price to meet our firm's needs.  Skills needed include: vendor management, price negotiation, purchase order creation, order tracking and management, invoice reconciliation, and price dispute resolutions. Although the goods purchased will cover a wide spectrum, from office supplies, to furniture, to printed materials and the like, the bulk of the purchases will be in the IT/Systems field (e.g. networking equipment, software, servers, etc.) so a general knowledge of IT products and services is required.
