I work in the Treasury group, which handles the financing relationships that support the firm’s businesses. In this capacity, I build new financing partnerships, extend the scope of existing relationships, and form a part of the team responsible for their efficient utilization. I also oversee the firm’s counterparty credit function.
I’ve been lucky enough to have a variety of roles in my career at the firm, beginning with working on the build-out of our Investor Relations group’s organizational infrastructure and later helping to launch a start-up business focused on remote desktop services. Over my 10-plus years here, I’ve negotiated everything from software licenses and confidentiality agreements to legal documents governing the firm’s trading relationships. More recently, I’ve been applying these collected skills and experiences toward improving the quality of our financing arrangements.
Every day I get to have an observable impact. My day job is financing the firm’s portfolios, but I also spend time thinking up and implementing new ideas. The firm’s flexible, results-oriented culture gives employees the space to be innovative and see ideas through to fruition, regardless of background or tenure. It’s an ideal place for the naturally curious who crave opportunities to put theory into practice.
