Executive Committee Members

Max Stone

Max Stone is a managing director and a member of the Executive Committee, in which capacity he jointly supervises the firm's worldwide asset management businesses. Mr. Stone oversees the discretionary macro investment strategy. He also serves on the Risk Committee. Mr. Stone joined the firm in 1992, a year after receiving his B.A. in psychology from Brown University, graduating magna cum laude.

Julius Gaudio

Julius Gaudio is a managing director and a member of the Executive Committee, in which capacity he jointly supervises the firm's worldwide asset management businesses. Mr. Gaudio oversees the asset-backed securities, corporate credit, special situations, convertible securities, and long/short equity investment strategies and certain businesses focused on the Asia-Pacific and European regions. He also serves on the Risk Committee. Mr. Gaudio joined the firm in 1993 after receiving his A.B. in honors economics with coursework focusing on international monetary economics from Harvard University, graduating magna cum laude, where he was awarded a John Harvard Scholarship for academic distinction.

Anne Dinning, Ph.D.

Anne Dinning is a managing director and a member of the Executive Committee, in which capacity she jointly supervises the firm's worldwide asset management businesses. Dr. Dinning oversees the energy, U.S. private market, reinsurance, benchmark-relative equities, and global asset-class investment strategies. She also serves on the Risk Committee. In addition, she has oversight responsibility for the firm’s back-office financial operations and the activities of the Chief Operating Officer. Dr. Dinning joined the firm in 1990 after receiving her Ph.D. in computer science from New York University's Courant Institute of Mathematical Sciences, where she won the Harold Grad Memorial Prize for Outstanding Ph.D. Candidate. Dr. Dinning was the 2006 recipient of the Industry Leadership Award presented by 100 Women in Hedge Funds, an organization committed to the professional advancement of women in the alternative investment industry.

Eric Wepsic

Eric Wepsic is a managing director and a member of the Executive Committee, in which capacity he jointly supervises the firm's worldwide asset management businesses. Mr. Wepsic oversees much of the systematic alternative investment strategies. He also serves on the Risk Committee. In addition, he has oversight responsibility for the firm’s legal and compliance activities and global information technology platform. Mr. Wepsic joined the firm in 1994 after receiving his A.B. in mathematics in 1992 and A.M. in mathematics in 1994, both from Harvard University. Mr. Wepsic is a two-time winner of the internationally renowned William Lowell Putnam Mathematical Examination, and he was also a gold medalist in the 1987 International Mathematics Olympiad.
